At the Rinker’s Challenge 2.0, The BlindSpot project won 15,000 leva of start-up funding capital to build a mobile darkroom. The aim of the project is to create jobs for disadvantaged people, namely blind people, by conducting self-awareness, coaching and team-building sessions in complete darkness. The team works tirelessly to adapt and develop familiar coaching principles and standard team building activities to a setting in total darkness. The idea of this combination is to help people find out unexpected things for themselves, for most of us are blinded by everyday life.

With the help of the Rinker Center at “Charity Aid Foundation in Bulgaria” and our mentor Emil Georgiev, DeConi Bulgaria will enable a team of blind people to reveal the secrets of darkness and help you see the invisible.

“Look at the world with other eyes and new encounters in the dark.”

The award was presented by Egbert Wurman, CEO of ING Bank.
