Evgeni Mitev from the Synergia Foundation is among the approved participants of the 2017 Arkutino Summer School for NGOs, organized by the Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law. The ARKUTINO 2017 Summer School will enable participants to build on their knowledge of:

• understanding of the most important things about the legal status of the organization, how to make changes to its structure, how to ensure transparency in decision-making;
• How advocacy campaigns are organized and how they are involved in the decision-making process;
• What can be the sources of funding for NGOs and what really means a financially sustainable organization?
• How does the business of NGOs develop, what are the important taxes?
• How to raise funds from private and corporate donors

The training has an extremely practical focus and will provide knowledge and experience that can be applied directly to the job. A team of experts from the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law and guest lecturers will ensure this.
